General Overview

The Motion Index Drives Motion Flex line of Rotary Index Tables encompasses a large range of sizes. Our complete line of RT Series Rotary Index Tables is equipped with a constant lead cam and heavy duty cam followers to achieve high output torques. The Motion Flex line is ideal for the customer who needs the flexibility of controlling an indexer’s speed and pattern without compromising on the robust design of a barrel cam driven index unit.

User-controlled indexing speed
Maintains the strength of a fixed barrel cam in a flexible servo system
Constant lead barrel cam with up to 18:1 reduction
Pre-loaded cam followers for zero backlash in operation
The Motion Flex system’s use of a barrel cam makes it stronger than using a servomotor and reducer
The Motion Flex line can use either a standard AC motor with encoder or a servomotor:
The standard AC motor with encoder is the most cost effective and simplest to set up and still offers extremely high-accuracy indexes (± 0.01 mm at cam follower)
The servomotor package requires the use of a low backlash gear reducer and offers extremely high accuracy
